Could you make a difference?

You'll need to be over 25 years of age and hold a current advanced driving qualification (such as IAM or ROSPAor be trained to an emergency service standard (i.e. Police Class 1).

Alternatively, if you have a
valid MOTORCYCLE advanced qualification, you'll be able to drive for us without a separate "car only" equivalent.

We can provide advice and guidance to enable you to complete your training, so you can still apply if you don't yet have that.

You must also have no more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence (inclusive of any pending convictions).
This must be a full, UK licence.

If you're an experienced and
safe driver, then passing an advanced test should be a doddle.

Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

This 2019 Excel model features a raft of safety features, 4x4 capability and great fuel economy via Hybrid technology. You'll travel in style with this very modern vehicle.
The RAV4 was donated to us by the Mark Benevolent Fund.

Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid

A recent addition to our fleet, this 3-year-old model is also packed with safety features

and a raft of driver comforts, including heated "just about everything".

Toyota Corolla Touring Sport

Our latest addition is a brand new 2020 Corolla Hybrid (can you tell we like them?)
Arriving in September with a new "70" plate this is yet another high-spec, safety conscious car with numerous driver aids and great fuel economy.

You don't need your own car - you'll use our fleet of fully liveried cars - all insured, taxed and maintained for you.
We even pay for the petrol...

How's about that?

When you're on duty for us, you'll collect a car of your choice and keep it at home, so you'll not lose any time responding to the call from our controllers when they despatch you to a new job.

We have shifts available midweek and weekend daytimes, evenings and nights.

We're flexible too - so if you're prepared to help us, we'll work with you to ensure everyone's happy.

Skoda Octavia

Our oldest car is nearing retirement but we've decided to keep it as a bit of a stand-by.
It has served us well, but everything comes to an end eventually, right?
